Volunteer Opportunities

St. Rose Hospital welcomes interns and volunteers, who are seeking professional and personal growth. Through their volunteer experience, they are able to contribute, tackle leadership roles, and gain technical skills that will last them a lifetime. We provide valuable office experience, as well as field experience. Our volunteers work closely with our team to gain knowledge, skills and talents that will assist them in achieving their goals. Please take a moment to find out how you can help make a difference in your community.

Foundation Special Events

The St. Rose Hospital Foundation holds many fundraising events throughout the year. Help is usually needed in many areas including registration, manning information booths, helping with any silent auction that may be held, set-up and clean-up. Visit our Foundation Events page for a list of our events and contact the Foundation office at (510) 264-4139 to find out how you can help.

Hospital Auxiliary

St. Rose Hospital is always looking for senior adults to provide an invaluable service to their community as well as to patients, physicians, and staff at the hospital. You’ll have an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy various social and educational events, and receive recognition and appreciation for your commitment.

The Volunteers at St. Rose Hospital perform a variety of services including greeting patients and visitors, staffing the gift shop, delivering flowers and mail, transporting patients and, on occasion, special projects as needed. Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of four hours a week.
